Wednesday arrives. She tries hard to stay up until eleven, because that’s when the numbers are announced, but she can’t do it. It’s just like New Years. I don’t wake her up this time though, and I don’t check the numbers myself either. This is her thing. If we win, I want her to be the first to know, and if we lose, I don’t want to be the first to know.
